While looking into the cross-browser compatibility of my website I noticed a strange problem that only happens in Chrome. On some pages, but not all of them, certain elements start to disappear as you scroll down the page and I haven’t the slightest idea why. A good example can be seen here.
There are two different elements that first appear normally on the page, but they become fixed so that they scroll with you as you scroll down. The first is the sidebar, and one of the disappearing elements is the tabs (Chat, Staff, and Info). If the Info tab is currently being displayed, another one of the disappearing elements is the charts in the Statistics box. Finally, there’s a gray bar above the main message content area with “Prev” and “Next”, and the former disappears.
I suspect that there’s some larger overall problem that’s causing all of these things, but the main difficulty I’m having with this is that I don’t know where to even begin to look in order to find the cause – this issue is frankly quite baffling to me, especially since it works perfectly on Firefox and IE. And all my attempts to find out more information with what seems to be the appropriate keywords have been fruitless. Can anyone at the very least point me in the right direction?
