I have an application which is running on server. Every second my application checks inserted rows in the table . After row was inserted application sends some necessary info to the emails. So, connection to DB (means a session) effects to the system performance. It takes a lot of memory.
My question is next. Is it possible to implement a logic like that…. I want oracle (after row was inserted) execute a batch file (batch file will execute an application). If yes, how to do that ? Very interesting task. I’m trying to resolve it.
p.s: batch file has been prepared and it is working fine for me.
