I currently have (on a Windows 8 system)
C:Octavedirectory added to
- in this directory a file
octave.batwhich starts up
- an octave startup script
C:Octave.2.4_gcc-4.4.0shareoctavesitemstartupwhich changes the octave working directory
pwdto the directory where (most of) my scripts are.
I would like to change that to Octave starting up with the same working directory as the directory from where I’ve called octave in the terminal. I imagine this must be possible by changing both the batch file and
octaverc, but I cannot figure out how.
